Nebraska’s greatest asset is its people.  However, our greatest challenge in the coming decades will be retaining and attracting young talent and families as the nation’s demographics continue to age. 

In the next five years, Nebraska will need to add tens of thousands of new workers to sustain its economy.  This means we must invest in local infrastructure, such as: 

• affordable housing
• childcare
• education and medical facilities, and
• social services
